All created with inspiration from Irish myths these medium sized wall hangings are a perfect accessory to a bedroom. They measure approximately 40 cms wide and around 70 cms long. Below are the names of each piece in order from left to right.  Eibhleann - meaning beautiful, radiant and pleasant. Most famously sung as a 17th Century love song played on a harp. Aoife - means beauty. This is the name of several characters of Irish legend and one of my favourite names. Medium size measuring 35cms x 50cms Saoirse - A beautiful girl's name meaning freedom and liberty. A smaller piece in the celtic range measuring 25cms x 45cms Caoimhe - comes from a word with several positive meanings including beautiful, precious, beloved, gentle, and graceful. 

Aoibh - The name Aoibh is girl's name, meaning "beautiful, radiant". It's pronounced 'Eve' Órla - meaning Golden Princess in Gaelic is one of my favourites. I've chosen a regal blue and hints of metallic gold for the golden princess. Ériu - Is an Irish Goddess who gave her name to Ireland, 'Eire'. The girls name Erin comes from this. A few tones of green using single and 3ply traditional cord and white for peace. Gealach - meaning moon in Irish. Made with traditional cream single twist rope and the most stunning old wooden beads. Maeve - A powerful and legendary warrior Queen of Celtic mythology. The name is supposed to mean 'intoxicating'. Fionnuala - Inspired by the Irish legend of the Children of Lir. In the legend she was changed into a swan and cursed by her stepmother Aoife. Fionnuala has elegance, grace and strength. She is made with cream, stone and soft pink and white single twist rope and tan raffia using a range of knotting techniques. 55cms x 130cms Banshee - A female spirit of Irish folklore who warns of death of a loved one. Usually heard in the form of screaming, shrieking or wailing. You would hear her cry when a family member was about to die. It's suggested she only comes to the people with surnames 'O' or 'Mc' in their name.....
